Tems, also known as Temilade Openiyi, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on July 11, 1995, in Lagos. She started singing in the church choir when she was a child and later became one of Nigeria’s popular vocalists. Her music has gained worldwide recognition and she is a rising star in the Nigerian music industry.

Early Life and Education:
Tems was born to a Nigerian mother and a British father. She lost her father when she was five years old, leaving her mother to raise her as a single parent. She attended elementary school in Lagos and later enrolled at Dowen College in Lekki. She then moved to South Africa to study Economics at a university in Johannesburg.
Tems began her music career at a young age, playing the piano and singing in her school chorus.
